The winner of this year’s $2 million United Arab Emirates Derby at Meydan, Toast of New York, will parade at The Betfair Lambourn Open Day on Good Friday 18th April 2014. He will join recent Cheltenham Festival winner Present View, the mighty Sprinter Sacre and record-breaking steeplechaser Kauto Star who will be stabled at Oliver Sherwood’s Rhonehurst stables throughout the morning of the open day.
Also declared for the three-and-a-half-mile race will be last year’s winner, Well Refreshed; Wychwoods Brook, winner of the Peter Marsh Chase at Haydock in January; and the Jonjo O’Neill trained Merry King, 3rd in last month’s Peter Marsh Chase, set to be ridden by AP McCoy.
Wet Wet Wet are to perform at Haydock Park Racecourse this summer. The chart-topping band will be the headline act at the first of three hugely popular summer’s music nights on Saturday 19th July. Tickets for the evening's racing followed by open-air concert by Wet Wet Wet went on sale today, starting from just £30 for adults and £15 for children.
