SATURDAY 17TH JULY - SIMPLY RED LIVE ON A SUMMERS' NIGHT
Eleven years after giving the first-ever concert to be held at Haydock Park, Simply Red are on their way back to the racecourse. Following on from their groundbreaking performance in August 1999, they will return to play live again on Saturday (evening) 17th July 2010.
As part of Simply Red's "Live on a Summer's Night" tour, this iconic band will perform live after evening racing at Haydock Park. It is already expected to be one of the summer's greatest open-air concerts and certainly not one to be missed.
With a career spanning more than 25 years in the music industry, Simply Red, fronted by legendary British soul singer, Mick 'Red' Hucknall, will be performing hit after hit; from Money's Too Tight (To Mention), through to Holding Back The Years, If You Don't Know Me By Now, Stars and Fairground.
First Race 6.40pm - Last Race 9.10pm. Simply Red will perform live on stage after the last race.
