Haydock Park Racecourse will host The Betfred Sprint Cup Festival between 4th – 6th September, which will climax with Haydock’s feature flat race of the season – The Betfred Sprint Cup - with a number of exciting horses amongst the entries for the Group 1 race in early September.

Michael Owen’s Brown Panther may have been defeated at ‘Glorious’ Goodwood yesterday but he ran a brave race for me on firm ground that wasn’t ideal.
I’m back on the South Downs today and tomorrow and two horses with winning form at Haydock Park could go well this afternoon.

Haydock Park-sponsored columnist, jockey Richard Kingscote, is hoping that horses with form at the north west racecourse can give him his first victory of the week at Royal Ascot.
