Simply Red Live on a Summer's Night!

More than a decade since Simply Red's phenomenal performance at Haydock Park, the legendary band are set to return to the racecourse on Saturday 17th July 2010 as part of their 'Live on a Summer Night's' tour.

The first of three acts confirmed to perform live after evening racing at next year's concert series, 2010 is already looking to be a year packed full of entertainment and top racing.

With a career spanning more than 25 years in the music industry, Simply Red, fronted by legendary British soul singer, Mick 'Red' Hucknall, will be performing hit after hit; from Money's Too Tight (To Mention), through to Holding Back The Years, If You Don't Know Me By Now, Stars and Fairground.

Dickon White, Haydock Park Racecourse's Managing Director, said: "Haydock Park's summer series of music nights after horse racing has just got better year after year – and the crowds return in big numbers.

"We're extremely excited to be welcoming back Mick Hucknall and the band 11 years after the first-ever concert at Haydock Park."
