'Movember' is here!

Call into the Haydock Park offices this November and you will see many members of staff who are sporting a cheeky 'Mo' (Moustache), this is in aid of 'Movember'!

For those of you who don't know what this is about, during November each year, 'Movember' is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. To find out more please go to: http://uk.movember.com/?home
 
Betfair are supporting The Prostate Cancer Charity (TPCC) as their charity of the year and have asked for our support for 'Movember'!  This is especially well themed as this month we are staging the raceday everyone is talking about, The Betfair Chase Festival on the 18th/19th November and Betfair have a whole race dedicated to the charity - 'The Betfair Hairy Mo Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race'. On their raceday there will be lots' of 'Mo' themed activities, not to mention the fact that there are plenty of racing celebs also involved!

We would love any support to help 'The Haydock Stubby Stallions' (yes that's our team name!) to raise money for the charity and to also show our support for Betfair's chosen Charity. There is a section on the website where you can donate if you feel our Stubbly Stallions deserve it!

And what, I hear you ask, are our female supporters doing?  Well fear not, for our female staff who not physically able to grow Mo's, then Fake moustaches and Fingerstaches will enable everyone to get involved.
