Haydock Park Annual Members Visit Tom Dascombe's Yard.

On a beautiful sunny September morning, the Haydock badge holders paid a visit to Manor House in Malpas, Cheshire, Tom Dascombe’s training facilities.

Annual member, Katie Dalton, takes up the story ...

Richard Kingscote Racing Columnist

Racing columnist, jockey Richard Kingscote, believes he can add to his seasonal tally of winners at Haydock Park on Saturday evening.

Haydock Winner can get me the Roodee decision

An impressive Haydock Park victor offers racing columnist, jockey Richard Kingscote, his best chance of a winner on a busy weekend of riding close to home.

When Decision By One won a classified stakes at Haydock Park last month I knew I had a horse to look forward to in the future.

The colt was winning for the first time on turf after opening his account as a two-year-old on Wolverhampton’s all-weather track last autumn.

Premier Steps can lead me to more Ascot joy

A Royal Ascot victory delighted our racing columnist, jockey Richard Kingscote, who has another live chance today in Berkshire and looks ahead to racing at Haydock Park on Saturday evening.

It’s an old saying in racing is that if a jockey has a winner at Royal Ascot, he’s had a good Royal Ascot.  And that’s how it has been for me.

Ceiling Kitty’s victory in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes came as a very pleasant surprise.

Richard Kingscote Hoping To Get Off To Winning Start!

We’re into the throes of two major meetings at Haydock Park this weekend and next.

I’m making my first appearance of the season at the racecourse this afternoon and I am hoping to get off to a winning start.

My best chance is likely to be on Decision By One in the 3.30pm race, the PHS Waterlogic Classified Stakes.

Manor House Stable has a chance with 'Barracuda Boy' at Haydock Park.

Racing columnist, jockey Richard Kingscote, turns the spotlight on Haydock Park’s mixed meeting of Flat and jump racing tomorrow as well as his own rides in the north and south.

We were delighted at Tom Dascombe’s training yard this week when we got our first two-year-old winner of the season.  Numerous runner-up spots had become frustrating, so now we want to kick on for more success.

May is a big month and This Is Nice can get it off to a good start!

By Haydock Park racing columnist and jockey, Richard Kingscote.

May is a big month at our training yard with so many races to be won at Haydock Park and Chester.

Haydock has no fewer than four fixtures this month, culminating in the Betfred Silver Bowl and Temple Stakes day on the final Saturday of the month.

I’m very proud of my record at Haydock where I’ve enjoyed a 25% winner-to-runner career strike rate.  My aim now is to have greater success at The Roodee – starting with next week’s May Festival!

Here's hoping we all have a Whale of a Time ... By Richard Kingscote

Cheshire-based Jockey, Richard Kingscote, succeeds Paul Hanaghan as Haydock Park's new columnist and gives the low-down on his rides this week.

This week I’m delighted to succeed the two-time Champion Jockey Paul Hanagan as Haydock Park’s new Flat racing columnist.

New Echo Columnist, Jockey Richard Kingscote, looks forward to big season!

USUALLY moving south is seen as the way of making progress in your career. But for jockey Richard Kingscote it has been making the switch the other way around.

Along with trainer Tom Dascombe, he made the move from Lambourn to Cheshire in November 2009.
